Description: Haldimand-Norfolk Resource, Education And Counselling Help (R.E.A.C.H.), is a multi-service, not-for-profit, charitable organization that provides children’s mental health services; adult and family counselling services; services for families of children with developmental disabilities; services for youth who have become involved or are at risk of becoming involved in the Youth Justice system; residential services for older adolescents; child-care services; Early Years Centre services, C.A.P.C. programs, and other early intervention and prevention programs. Services are offered in the home, in childcare settings, in school and/or in various office and satellite locations throughout the Counties of Haldimand and Norfolk.

The Haldimand-Norfolk R.E.A.C.H. Youth Services Division offers programs for 12 to 18 year olds.
§ The Extrajudicial Measures, Extrajudicial Sanctions and Youth Justice Committee programs provide diversion options to youth with minor or initial criminal offences, allowing these youth to demonstrate accountability for their actions within their home communities.
§ The Community Service Order Program allows for youth on probation to make restitution to their communities through service to others.
§ The U-Turn and Choices Programs are individual and group counselling programs available to any youth at risk of becoming involved or further involved in the justice system.
§ The Youth Support program provides counselling and life skills support to youth on probation.

R.E.A.C.H. is a community leader in Haldimand and Norfolk Counties in regard to youth justice education and programming. R.E.A.C.H. provides leadership to the H-N Youth Justice Liaison Committee, a group of community partners and service providers who work with youth who may be involved in the justice system. We meet quarterly to network, identify concerns, problem solve issues and advocate for meaningful services and programs.
