Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT)

Under the auspices of the Provincial Training plans, Central Region has worked to develop and maintain a peer response team that has included ministry staff, transfer payment staff, and professional clinicians with the company Bill Tibbo & Associates. The success of the team combined with a need for more members (due to attrition) and an intense interest from agency partners across the province to be more directly involved has resulted in the decision to have a call for new members.

It is our hope that we will be able to increase the teams’ membership and representation by adding people from each of the four regions. The attached materials will give you background information as well as outline expectations of agencies and staff who may join the team. In addition, you will find information with respect to the process for nomination and selection of new team members.

Only completed application will be accepted, including resume, two peer references, one supervisor reference, application/contact sheet and a letter describing why you want to be part of the team.
